Our Customers have the benefits of Ideal FoodService being locally owned using local products and employing local people. We are small enough to meet our customers' needs with the specific approaches needed to satisfy a diverse customer base, All the benefits of a partnership with Ideal FoodService are further enhanced by enjoying our associations with Colabor Inc. and Itwal Ltd. -procurement networks covering all of Canada, with over 150 distribution warehouses.

Colabor is an incorporated company owned by 42 distributors including Ideal FoodService with more than 50 distribution warehouses in Quebec and the Maritimes. As Colabor shareholders, we own and operate our own 200,000 sq. ft. warehouse in Longueuil, Quebec. At present, a new 375,000 sq. ft consolidation warehouse is under construction, due to open in August 2002.

Ideal FoodService is also a shareholder of ITWAL Ltd. As shareholders, we own and operate a 275,000 sq.ft. consolidation warehouse in Brampton, Ontario.

Colabor Inc. and ITWAL Ltd exist for the benefit of independent shareholders to increase their purchasing power and in turn flourish in a marketplace that is competitive, difficult, and dominated by large multi-nationals. This enables Ideal Food Service to access a wide variety of retail and food service products in a very competitive and timely manner.
